From integrating private lending on Aave to groundbreaking conferences at The Shard and beyond, here’s how Labyrinth made waves this month.

Labyrinth protocol september update - privacy, progress and major breakthroughs

While the world was caught up in the whirlwind of Token 2049 and Solana Breakpoint, we at Labyrinth took a different path. Instead of feeling the FOMO, we channeled that energy into building and making some game-changing breakthroughs this September. Here’s what we’ve been up to, and trust us – you don’t want to miss it!

Private Lending on Aave

That’s right! Private lending on Aave via the Labyrinth Testnet is officially live.

Now you can lend in anonymous mode, with full control over your assets, all while staying completely private. Seriously, it’s a game-changer for DeFi. No KYC, no middlemen – just you and your assets, privately secured.

Why this matters:

  • Complete privacy while lending with the same UX as Aave
  • KYC less Compliance with Selective de-anonymisation features you can control what information you want to reveal

One-Click Private Trading on Uniswap

Trading on Uniswap just got a whole lot easier with the added anonymity of Labyrinth!

  • Keep your staking private and secure

Behind the Scenes: Our Testing Metrics

We kicked off private testing at the end of August, and since then, Labyrinth’s been buzzing with around 2000 transactions putting it to work every single day giving crucial feedback and getting early alpha updates!

We've done countless demos with our early users and other industry-leading power users in crypto, collecting key insights to level up before we go public.

Want to see how we’re doing?

We’ve set up a Dune dashboard (currently tracking Sepolia ETH activity—because Dune still hasn’t caught up with our OP testnet) so we can all follow Labyrinth's on-chain progress live.

The momentum is building, and we’re getting closer to launch — this is just the beginning!

#CIFRIS24: A Global Stage for Cryptography

On top of all these launches, our Co-Founder Amit Chaudhary represented Labyrinth at #CIFRIS24, one of the most prestigious cryptography conferences in the world.

Amit shared the stage with cryptography pioneers from the University of Warwick (UK), Graz University of Technology (Austria), and the Bank of Italy, showcasing Labyrinth’s innovations in privacy technology.

Warwick Business School Conference

Amit also represented Labyrinth at the Gillmore Centre Academic Conference on DeFi & Digital Currencies at The Shard, London.

This prestigious event gathered the brightest minds in academia, cryptography, and regulators like the SEC and BIS to discuss the future of DeFi and on-chain transactions.

Amit’s presentation on user-owned privacy and decentralized compliance made waves in the DeFi world! Here are some key attendees who shared their knowledge:

  • Agostino Capponi (Columbia University): The Evolution of DeFi
  • Thomas Shohfi (SEC): How Payment for Order Flow Influences Markets
  • Andreas Park (University of Toronto): Phantom Liquidity in Decentralized Lending
  • Alfred Lehar (University of Calgary): The DeFi Dilemma...and many more!

It was an incredible experience to be at the forefront of financial innovation and discuss the next big steps for DeFi.
